Borough Market

Borough Market is one of the largest outdoor food markets in London and sells a large variety of high-end foods. On a chilly Saturday morning, we hopped on the RV1 bus from Tower of London to the south east part of London just south of the River Thames.  The market has its roots from 1276 when the site was at then end of London Bridge but the “new” market has been here since 1756. Although you can get the freshest meats, fish and vegetables here the real reason to take this hike is for all of the great stands with cheeses, bakery goods, olives and more delicious things than you can count. And the great thing is that tasting is encouraged!
